Only 2 km away, the house of Rudolf Steiner’s birth is reminiscent of the great philosopher. Furthermore there is the new built Steiner centre, which is also worth seeing due to its ingenious architecture. Throughout the year there are many traditional events like the Speedway championship, angling competitions, Rudolf-Steiner theme day and city festivals.
If you would like to discover the culinary specialities of our region, we recommend a trip to the famous Vine street through the Međimurer Mountains. The thermal bath Sv. Martin, which invites to recreate at the end of an exciting day, is situated in this mountains as well.
How about wandering through the nearby Zriner city Čakovec?
In Summer in the Vineyards and in the City from Čakovec you have many events on air like the Louna Park in July, open air Concerts and much mor of them.
In August we would like to invite you to the most famous city festival in Croatia, the “Spancirfest” in Varazdin.
